Finale or PrintMusic: Learn how to put your music compositions in print (with or without a MIDI keyboard), add lyrics and chord symbols, play back to hear what they sound like, transpose to any key, extract instrumental parts, create worksheets, burn to an audio CD and learn how to make your own SmartMusic accompaniments.

MAVIS KALLESTAD, Instructor, is a free-lance piano accompanist, Finale music engraver and music software trainer in the Twin Cities area. She has a B.S. Composite (Vocal & Instrumental) Degree in Music Education from Dickinson State University. She is a former private piano teacher, has created rehearsal recordings for the Minnesota All State Choirs and has done music engraving for numerous composers and arrangers including Stephen Paulus. For the past 8 years, Mavis has taught Finale and PrintMusic workshops at AABACA to over 700 music educators, professional and community musicians (graduate credit offered through Hamline University).
